Lorena Gutiérrez is a Mexican attorney and serves as the leader of the firm’s operations in Guadalajara, Mexico. She plays a central role in coordinating the firm’s legal services across the country, ensuring that clients receive consistent, strategic, and high-quality support in matters involving both Mexican and U.S. legal frameworks.


Lorena was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in a family with a long-standing tradition in the Mexican culinary industry, including one of the most recognized restaurant franchises in western Mexico. Growing up in an environment defined by hard work, perseverance, and passion, she developed a strong sense of discipline and commitment. Education has been a cornerstone of her upbringing, shaped by a family legacy focused on creating opportunities for future generations—a responsibility she carries forward with dedication and excellence.


She earned her law degree from Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Business and Commercial Law with honors. She later pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), further strengthening her ability to navigate and connect both Mexican and U.S. legal systems.

With over twelve years of experience in corporate law, Lorena has worked with some of Mexico’s most prominent companies, including a leading steel manufacturer and a private energy company focused on oil and gas exploration and extraction. Her practice has concentrated on commercial transactions, civil matters, and complex regulatory frameworks, where she is recognized for her technical precision, strategic thinking, and commitment to efficiency and innovation.


As part of her role within the firm, Lorena oversees and coordinates the work of legal professionals across multiple states in Mexico, ensuring that each matter is handled with consistency, attention to detail, and alignment with the firm’s cross-border strategy. Her leadership is essential in maintaining operational excellence and delivering seamless service to clients with interests in both countries.


Fully bilingual and bicultural, Lorena brings a thoughtful and culturally aware approach to her work, particularly in matters that require coordination between Mexican and U.S. legal systems. Beyond her legal career, Lorena is a wife and mother to a young daughter.
